Seems like I've been dragging through a lifetime since Inaguaration day. Then again, I've been following this process from the beginning. Though I'm a registered Republican and Conservative,the potential history wasn't totally lost on me some 2 years ago. I never in my wildest imagination would have conjured up a Black man running for President of these United States in my lifetime. From his address to the DNC in '04, I was somewhat impressed with Barak Obama and his speech. In the end, I said, "Too bad he's a Democrat." The "history" of the thing even drove me to "give him an ear" during the Primary Campaign of the Democrats,in as much as I wasn't too pleased with the Republican field. It didn't take long to see that "We the People" were hosed.
Given his "associations" that fell out of his closet during both the Primaries and the General Election;individually they didn't really amout to much. BUT...put them under one umbrella, add "Spread the wealth around" and "who" Barak Obama is becomes very clear. I went to my gas mask in November and voted for John McCain,in spite of the fact he has been a "Democrat" with an "R" next to his name. Even Conservative Talk Radio was tentative with support for the Arizona Senator. In the end,56% of Americans had had enough of the "Kool-Aid" to usher in an historic moment in our history. "WOW!!!!/AWW MAN???" History made...but "THIS" guy???? Then the Pomp and Circumstance of the Inauguration,the tears and the awe struckness of the people there and doing the coverage. That was 100 days ago? Gee Mo Netty!!!
"Some" people have been "sobering up" and have become clear eyed, and "now" see what so many of us saw 1 and 2 years ago. In just 100 days he has:
Assembled a cabinet that,politely,has questionable backgrounds and qualifications.
Tripled the existing debt primarily by rewarding supporters and funding long awaited Democrat "wish list" items.
Mortgaged the future of my grandchildren.
Traveled to about the world telling everyone "America Sucks" and apologized to the world for it.
Lent an ear to dictators,socialists,fascists and thugs with headlocks on their own countries,while at the same time NOT lending an ear to any and all oppostition here in the United States.
Took over or is taking over Auto Manufacturers and Banks,firing the CEO.
Has selectively held up his promise of "transparency".
Has forced banks, states and auto companies to take money on "his" terms and refused to allow them to give money back.
And has multiplied the "business as usual in Washington" 3 fold. And so on...and so on....
Obama has never stopped "campaigning" and at this moment, is in Missouri at a high school "celebrating" his "100 Days in Office".
Tonight he will hold a Press Conference to "Celebrate" his 100 Days. The "General Media" will no doubt glorify him and exhault him. They will do their usual "spin" on his actions and highlight his intellegence,his boldness and his leadership without question. They will make room to demonize those who disagree or question his intentions,actions and introduce consequences for these actions.
But "this" is just the beginning. Unfettered,the Constitution of these United States is next. His administration intends to dismiss it into the nearest shredder over the next 100 Days.
Of THIS...we should be very affraid.
